![]() ![]() HOWEVER, you CAN make custom tool bars and instead of FILE~IMPORT~IGES you can simply click on the import iges icon in the tool bar. As for auto-import, "I don't think Tim" (tool time). Thanks all!Well, if your 'master' program is set as READ ONLY, then they can only QUIT or save as, if they try to close, it prompts to do a save-as. Not sure if this is really possible, but it would save me a lot of time going through our current procedure (step-by-step) to find out where the operator went wrong. Ideally, I'd like the program to prompt the operator to do a save-as, automatically import the information, convert the xyz to surface points, and pretty much do everything the operator normally has to do. I'm just looking for a way to save some time and redundancy. Would it be possible to use the file name as a variable to import the necessary geometry? ![]() Basically I open the default program and the first thing I do is save it as N10XXX-XXXX-EXX. We have a default program that we use for checking electrodes and a very stringent file naming structure for all our jobs. I was wondering if it would be possible to have PCD automatically import an IGES and XYZ file without having to go through the menus. ![]()
